Do you have a new baby on the way?

Are you worried or nervous about all of the new parts of parenthood headed your way? Is this not your first rodeo, but the first rodeo was exhausting and mentally draining? Whatever position you sit in as you wait for baby to come, we can help. Here at Love n’ Littles we do all things baby related. Whether it’s a Newborn Care Specialist you are looking for, or simply some guidance on sleep training or scheduling on your own. Maybe its some consulting over support you need for your infant or toddler who isn’t sleeping well still, or possibly some extra support for twins or triplets, or even a bit of guidance on how to support a sibling. Whatever it is, we are here to help you through it.

My name is Darby and I work primarily as an Overnight Newborn Care Specialist. As you may have read above, or from exploring our site, we do a lot of things all with the aim to support you as you enter or navigate parenthood. Each of those tools is there to support you in whatever form you may need it in.

As a Newborn Care Specialist I support you in your first 12-20 weeks home with a new baby with 30 to 60 hours a week of overnight or daytime care. I will get you set off on the right foot when it comes to having a healthy sleep schedule; working to get your little one (or ones!) sleeping through the night as it becomes age appropriate. I will support their eating needs to ensure their intake supports age appropriate growth and successful sleep, whether that is through breast feeding, formula feeding, bottle feeding or some combination of those options. And most importantly I will be able to keep a close eye on your newest and tiniest family member to make sure their health, development, and habits are all trending in the right direction.

As a Newborn or Infant Care consultant I can offer guidance and recommendations that support you in achieving the same goals as I mentioned above, but for families that prefer having verbal guidance or short demonstrations rather than full time in person support. We will start by discussing what those goals or concerns are, and from there establish how I can help address those for your family.

When it comes to Sibling Support Consultations, I rely on my experiences with families as well as my masters and background as a Certified Child Life Specialist to help an older sibling adjust to siblinghood. This specialty equips me to support positive coping for children and families and works to reduce stress and potential trauma. This is a great way to ensure you as a parent are able to support each of your children during this time of transition.

As you can see, there is a lot we can do to support you in this time in life. Feel free to pop over to Our Services page to learn even more about everything we can offer to you and your growing family. We can’t wait to join your team!
